"Welcome to my little workplace where I love helping beginners and the more advanced take beautiful photographs with compact cameras. Since pioneering the first ever courses and launching them at the Birmingham NEC Dive Show back in 2005, it has brought such a smile to my face to see how well my guests have been doing, the wonderful prizes that they have won and the confidence that they have gained to take beautiful underwater photographs. With 22 prize winning guests so far, my life's passion continues to be to help coach compact camera users to shoot with confidence. I look forward to helping you with your photography very soon."

This was taken off Sharm in Egypt and really depicts the beauty and colour that is available to visit so close to home.
These were taken off Costa Rica, I'll never forget singing "London Bridge is Burning Down" through my snorkel to try to encourage them to stay ....
This kind of octopus is the only animal in the whole animal kingdom to be able to change his shape to look like the food that he is trying to catch. It can mimic a flounder and lionfish amongst other animals. Truly amazing.
This was taken at Jackson Reef, near Sharm with just my compact camera in it's underwater housing. This little chap/chapess looked poorly as it was floating at the surface without moving much. I really hope that it hadn't accidentally swallowed a plastic bag.
I think of these guys as the "Nemos" of our UK coastline. Guaranteed to make you smile with their cute eyes and little punky hair-dos, I just can't ever get bored of seeing them.
Swimming with icebergs in a very toasty 3 degrees was definitely one of the most incredible experiences imaginable. Freezing it was, but even though I felt like I was turning blue, I just couldn't stop smiling at the thought that I did it!

Wow, what an amazing weekend it was, it was so great meeting old and new friends to be and helping so many visitors with their underwater
photography. It really was a very special weekend for me and have loved receiving all of your emails the past couple of days.
Another Course Guest is published for the third time
A huge well done to Rebecca Cole who has just been published in "Birds" Magazine. She came on an underwater photography course a while ago and won Sport Diver's covetted "Photo of the Month" competition twice! She has been out and about taking some stunning landscape photos of where she lives and I am so proud to hear that she is doing so well. Keep up the great work Rebecca.
Course Guest wins Countryfile Photo Competition
October and November were very proud months for me to see previous underwater photography course guest, David Smith scoop Countryfile's photography calendar competition with his superb picture of a group of pigs. He also came 6th in the British Society of Underwater Photographer's "Best Beginner" Competition. Well done David! The moment I saw your photo on TV with John Craven will stay with me forever.
